There was a time when I would take 100’s, even 1000’s of photos when I traveled. Travel was what originally fueled my love and passion for photography. Colors, interesting textures and architectural details… These days I am inspired by emotion and capturing life (and a slice of time), but I still love a good lighthouse!
Perhaps it’s because travel is few and far between these days, and more for relaxation than sightseeing, but regardless I never leave my camera at home—even if it’s appearance is limited. These are a few of my favorites of a quick weekend getaway to Ogunquit this summer. I just came across them as I finished up my 2012 photo album and they are getting me excited for a trip to Charleston & Hilton Head in a few weeks. Hoping to find a bit of inspiration (and warmth) in the South!
